Na última segunda-feira (27), Fábio Duarte (Rede), ex-candidato a prefeito da Serra, gravou um vídeo criticando a gestão atual e alegando paralisação na obra da rotatória do Ó. O vídeo foi gravado em meio ao congestionamento causado pelas mudanças recentes no trânsito próximo à rotatória.
Fábio Duarte foi o adversário do atual Prefeito Sérgio Vidigal (PDT) no segundo turno das eleições de 2020. No vídeo, ele direciona críticas tanto a Vidigal quanto ao Secretário de Obras da cidade, e faz um convite a ambos para dirigirem no local durante o horário de pico.

A Prefeitura da Serra, no entanto, contradiz as alegações de Duarte, afirmando que não houve paralisação na obra da rotatória. Até o momento, as obras seguem de acordo com o planejado, com previsão de aumentar o efetivo e os maquinários para acelerar a execução dos serviços a partir do início de outubro.

O jornal Serra Noticiário procurou a Prefeitura da Serra, questionando a existência de paralisação na obra, a assessoria de comunicação negou que a obra esteja parada.
