Com a colaboração da população, a Polícia Militar conseguiu prender um dos chefes do tráfico, com mandado de prisão em aberto pelo crime de homicídio qualificado
Os policiais militares do Sexto Batalhão (6ºBPM) foram acionados após denúncias de moradores para reprimir uma festa clandestina, no bairro Carapina Grande, na cidade de Serra. No local, obtiveram êxito em identificar e prender um homem com mandado em aberto por homicídio. O foragido da justiça detido pela Polícia Militar, também é apontado como um dos chefes do tráfico de drogas, que dominam o bairro Carapina Grande e região.

Nesta madrugada de domingo (19), por volta das 2:00h, os policiais militares foram acionados após denúncias anônimas de moradores via CIODES, informando que estava ocorrendo uma festa clandestina, na rua Portugal, próximo do Campo de Futebol do Ipiranga, no bairro Carapina Grande.
Ainda de acordo com as denúncias dos moradores, a festa é realizada constantemente no local, sendo promovida pelos traficantes que dominam a região e aproveitam para intensificarem a venda de drogas ilícitas, ostentação de armas e entre outros crimes.

Após as denúncias dos moradores, os policiais militares seguiram até o local onde estava sendo realizada a festa clandestina no bairro Carapina Grande. De acordo com os militares, foram recebidos com hostilidades pelos participantes do evento, sendo necessário utilização de dispositivos não letais, durante dispersão dos participantes, um homem tentou escapar da abordagem, mas foi abordado.
Durante abordagem ao suspeito, identificaram que Romário Conceição Rodrigues, de 27 anos, possuía um mandado de prisão em aberto pelo crime de homicídio, sendo detido e encaminhado até a 3ª Delegacia Regional da Serra, em Laranjeiras.
Conforme apurado pela reportagem, Romário Conceição Rodrigues é acusado pela Delegacia de Homicídios e Proteção às Mulheres de ter assassinado uma mulher. Além do homicídio, o homem também é apontado pelas policiais, como um dos chefes que comanda o tráfico de drogas, na região de Carapina Grande.
Romário é irmão de Josimar, conhecido como vulgo Nicota, que também é apontado como chefe do tráfico. Ambos tiveram um irmão chamado Ruan Conceição Rodrigues, de 15 anos, que foi assassinado em 2016 com 5 tiros, quando voltava da escola, no bairro Carapina Grande.
A reportagem fez contato com a Polícia Civil, sendo informado que o suspeito, de 27 anos, conduzido à Delegacia Regional de Serra, possuía um mandado de prisão em aberto por homicídio qualificado. Após o cumprimento do mandado ele foi encaminhado ao Centro de Triagem de Viana.
Festas Clandestinas proliferam pela Serra
As festas clandestinas são denominadas como “Mandelas”, esse tipo de festa tem se espalhado pelos bairros da Serra, e não possuem licença ou alvará de realização emitido pela Prefeitura. Os “Mandelas” sempre acontecem durante as madrugadas, em vias públicas, costuma serem regados de drogas e porte ilegal de armas.
