Nesta última segunda-feira (08), Jiberlandio Sahad, morador do bairro Novo Horizonte e ex-secretário adjunto da Secretaria Estadual de Direitos Humanos, denunciou ter sido vítima de racismo. Ele relatou que, ao fazer compras na loja da C&A no shopping Montserrat, foi abordado por seguranças ao sair do shopping, que questionaram suas compras.
Jiberlandio explicou à reportagem do Serra Noticiário que foi comprar roupas em duas lojas no shopping. No entanto, ao sair, foi abordado por seguranças que questionaram se suas compras tinham notas fiscais. Os seguranças alegaram que foram acionados pela loja C&A e que ele deveria retornar à loja para esclarecer a situação. Ao chegar na loja, a gerência alegou que a segurança agiu por conta própria. Jiberlandio afirmou que procurará resolver o caso na justiça.

Na mesma noite, ele publicou um vídeo em frente à Delegacia Regional da Serra, onde informou ter registrado um boletim de ocorrência na Polícia Civil denunciando o caso.

A reportagem procurou a assessoria de comunicação do shopping Montserrat e da C&A. Até o momento, o shopping não retornou o contato. A C&A respondeu, afirmando que a abordagem foi feita pelo segurança do shopping e não por funcionários da loja.
